UrsTV Copyright & DMCA Policy

1. Introduction

Urs TV respects the intellectual property rights of others and is committed to complying with applicable copyright laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).

 

This Copyright Policy outlines the process for reporting alleged copyright infringement and how Urs TV responds to such claims.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content available on Urs TV infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification to us. Your notice must include sufficient detail for us to identify the alleged infringement and take appropriate action.

To be effective, your notification must include:

  • a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed

  • a description of the material that you believe is infringing, including its location on the Service (such as a URL or content title)

  • your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address

  • a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law

  • a statement that the information in your notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner

  • your physical or electronic signature

 

3. Submission of Notices

Urs TV may request additional information if necessary to process your claim.

4. Response to Claims

Upon receipt of a valid notice, Urs TV may, at its sole discretion:

  • remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content

  • notify the user or content provider who uploaded the material

  • take additional action where appropriate, including account restrictions or termination

 

Urs TV reserves the right to act without prior notice.

5. Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you submitted was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification.

A valid counter-notification must include:

  • identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal

  • your name, address, telephone number, and email address

  • a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed in error

  • a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or appropriate jurisdiction if outside the United States)

  • your physical or electronic signature

 

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, Urs TV may restore the content in accordance with applicable law.

6. Repeat Infringers

Urs TV maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

7. Misrepresentation

Any person who knowingly submits a false or misleading infringement claim or counter-notification may be subject to liability under applicable law.
