UrsTV Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 01/15/2023 - Updated: 04/18/2026

Urs TV (“Urs TV,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and otherwise process personal information when you access or use the Urs TV platform, including our website, applications, connected television applications and channels, including Roku, and any related products, features, content, or services that link to or reference this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy also explains the privacy rights and choices that may be available to you, depending on where you live and how you interact with the Service.

By creating an account, subscribing to Urs TV, accessing content through our platform, activating a connected device, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described in this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Service.

1. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected by Urs TV in connection with your use of the Service, including information collected when you register for an account, subscribe to a plan, stream content, activate devices, communicate with us, browse our website, or otherwise interact with our platform. This Privacy Policy also applies to information we receive from service providers, platform partners, payment processors, analytics providers, and other third parties in connection with the operation of the Service.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, applications, payment processors, device manufacturers, or platforms that may interact with the Service but maintain their own privacy policies and terms. When you leave our Service or interact with third-party tools or services, your information may be governed by those third parties’ own policies.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information in order to provide, operate, secure, improve, and support the Service. The categories of personal information we collect depend on how you interact with Urs TV.

When you create an account or otherwise interact directly with us, we may collect identifying and account-related information such as your name, email address, login credentials, and other registration information you choose to provide. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we may collect subscription-related and billing-related information, including your selected plan, billing status, renewal status, transaction history, and limited payment-related details made available to us by our payment providers. Urs TV does not necessarily store full payment card details directly, as payments may be processed through third-party providers.

When you use the Service, we may collect information associated with your account and profile, including your membership status, entitlements, account settings, content preferences, and interactions with features made available through the platform. We may also collect usage information describing how you interact with the Service, such as what content you view, when you view it, playback activity, session information, search activity, feature usage, and general engagement information. This information helps us operate the Service, personalize and improve the user experience, and understand how users interact with our platform.

We also collect information about the devices and networks you use to access the Service. This may include device identifiers, device tokens, browser type, operating system, application version, IP address, general location inferred from IP address, connection information, and device activation data. In the case of connected TV platforms such as Roku, this may include activation codes, channel information, linking information, and device status information necessary to authenticate and manage access to the Service. Because Urs TV uses account and device-based access controls, we may maintain records concerning the devices associated with an account and the status of those devices.

If you communicate with us, including through customer support, contact forms, surveys, feedback submissions, or other correspondence, we may collect the content of those communications and any information you choose to provide in them. We may also maintain records of our responses and related administrative information.

3. How We Collect Personal Information

We collect personal information directly from you, automatically when you use the Service, and from third parties that support the operation of the Service.

We collect information directly from you when you create an account, subscribe, log in, update your account information, contact us, request support, respond to communications, or otherwise provide information through the Service. We collect information automatically when you browse our website, stream content, activate devices, use account features, or otherwise interact with the Service. This automatic collection may occur through server logs, cookies, analytics tools, device identifiers, and similar technologies.

We may also receive information from third parties. For example, we may receive account and subscription-related information from Wix and related account or payment services, usage or activation-related information from connected-device platforms such as Roku, infrastructure and database-related information from service providers such as Firebase or AWS, and technical or analytics information from vendors that help us operate and improve the Service. The exact information we receive depends on the services involved and the way you use the platform.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for business and operational purposes related to Urs TV. One of the main reasons we use personal information is to provide and maintain the Service. This includes creating and managing accounts, authenticating users, processing subscriptions, enabling access to content, managing device activation and linking, administering plan-based entitlements, and delivering content across supported devices and platforms.

We also use personal information to operate and administer our business. This includes managing billing and subscription records, responding to customer support inquiries, communicating with you about your account, sending service notices and operational messages, and maintaining the internal systems necessary to run the platform.

Personal information is also used to analyze, improve, and develop the Service. We may use information about viewing behavior, feature usage, technical performance, device interactions, and other usage patterns to troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, refine the user experience, understand what parts of the platform are most valuable, and plan future features and offerings. We may also use information to maintain and improve content delivery, platform design, and service functionality.

We use personal information for safety, security, and fraud prevention. This includes protecting accounts, enforcing device limits and access controls, identifying suspicious or unauthorized activity, detecting abuse of subscriptions or device activations, protecting our systems from attacks or misuse, and enforcing our Terms of Use and other applicable agreements and policies.

We may also use personal information to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, enforce our rights, investigate claims, protect the rights and safety of Urs TV and others, and support audits, dispute resolution, and recordkeeping requirements.

If we send newsletters, promotional communications, or marketing messages, we may use your contact information and related account information to do so, subject to applicable law and any preferences or choices you make. Even if you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send transactional or service-related communications regarding your subscription, account, billing, device access, or important platform changes.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to service providers and business partners that help us operate the Service. These may include providers of website hosting, cloud infrastructure, content delivery, analytics, customer support tools, account management systems, payment processing, database services, authentication, and device or platform integrations. These entities may process personal information on our behalf in order to provide services to us and support the functioning of Urs TV.

We may also disclose personal information to platform providers and integration partners where necessary to enable access to the Service on connected devices and third-party platforms. For example, if you access Urs TV through a connected TV or streaming platform, information may need to be exchanged to enable activation, linking, authentication, content playback, or related support functions.

We may disclose personal information where required by law or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights or property of Urs TV, enforce our agreements or policies, detect or investigate fraud or security incidents, or protect the safety of users or others.

In addition, if Urs TV is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or other business transaction, personal information may be disclosed to relevant parties as part of that process, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal protections.

We do not state here that we “sell” personal information in the ordinary commercial sense unless and until our actual practices require such disclosure. If, in the future, applicable law requires additional disclosures about targeted advertising, sharing, or sale of personal information, Urs TV may supplement this Privacy Policy accordingly.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Urs TV may use cookies, local storage, pixels, analytics tools, and similar technologies to support the operation of the Service. These technologies may be used to remember sessions, maintain user preferences, understand how visitors navigate the platform, measure performance, improve functionality, support account login experiences, and analyze traffic and feature use.

Some of these technologies are necessary for the Service to function properly. Others help us improve the platform or understand engagement with our content and features. You may be able to adjust certain browser settings to limit cookies or related technologies, but doing so may affect the functionality or availability of parts of the Service.

7. Account, Device Access, and Shared Use

Urs TV is an account-based service that may permit access across multiple devices depending on the user’s subscription plan and account status. If you share your account credentials with another person or allow another person to use a device logged into your account, that person may be able to access content, account-related information, viewing activity, and device-related information associated with your account. You are responsible for maintaining control over your account credentials and the devices used to access the Service.

If you sell, transfer, or stop using a device that has accessed Urs TV, you should ensure that you log out or otherwise remove account access where applicable. If you fail to do so, later users of that device may continue to have access to the Service through your account. Urs TV is not responsible for losses resulting from your failure to maintain the security of your account, email, password, or devices.

Because Urs TV uses account and device management features, we may process device identifiers, linking records, and device status data in order to authenticate devices, enforce plan-based access limitations, prevent abuse, and assist with support and administrative functions.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect the legitimate interests of Urs TV. The retention period for a particular type of information depends on the nature of the information, the purpose for which it was collected, the sensitivity of the data, the operational need for the information, the existence of legal or contractual obligations, and the need to investigate or defend against potential claims.

When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, we may delete it, anonymize it, or retain it in a form permitted by applicable law.

9. Data Security

Urs TV uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These safeguards may include access controls, authentication measures, system monitoring, vendor controls, and infrastructure protections appropriate to the nature of the Service.

However, no system or method of transmitting or storing data can be guaranteed to be completely secure. As a result, while we strive to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service and transmit information to us at your own risk.

10. International Transfers

Urs TV may process or store personal information in the United States and in other jurisdictions where Urs TV, its service providers, or its infrastructure providers operate. As a result, your personal information may be transferred to countries whose privacy laws may differ from those of your place of residence. When we do so, we take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is handled in a manner consistent with applicable law and this Privacy Policy.

11. Children’s Privacy

Urs TV is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate parental consent where required by law. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information or otherwise address the issue as required.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information in violation of this section, please contact us using the contact information provided below.

12. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information under applicable law. These rights may include the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of certain information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or request data portability.

To exercise any available privacy rights, you may contact us at the email address provided below. We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests, and we may decline or limit requests where permitted by law. We may also retain certain information where required or permitted by law, for legitimate business purposes, or for recordkeeping, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcement purposes.

If you no longer wish to receive marketing emails from us, you may use the unsubscribe link included in those communications or otherwise contact us regarding your preferences. Please note that you may still receive transactional messages relating to your account, subscription, billing, security, device access, or important service announcements.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to, integrations with, or content made available through third-party platforms, applications, websites, payment services, streaming devices, or social tools. These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Urs TV is not responsible for the privacy, security, or data practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies before providing them with personal information or using their services.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to legal, technical, operational, or business changes. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above, and where required by law, we will provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective will constitute your acknowledgment of the revised Privacy Policy to the extent permitted by law.
